The essential forms and elegant volumes of Century travel on a pair of wheels.
The aqua green structure in metal tubing, a reminder of the famous Bauhaus furnishings, has been ironically reinterpreted by Andrea Branzi in a playful but also iconic way: at one point, it bends over a set of wheels.
In a skillful game of interlocking geometric planes, the designer reformulates the idea of the chaise longue. The various parts are emphasized by precise choices of colors and materials: the support surface in red painted wood, the seat, armrest and back padded with wool and covered in gray and blue fabric. A desire to astonish, but with an awareness of functional needs.
